WAYS WE SERVE
Programming and community engagement are at the core of our strategy. We want to provide opportunities for everyone to serve and be involved in creating a strong and vibrant church, but also influencing our community as a whole. Below are ways we do that (and you can too!)
We have a high energy space for our children (pre-K to 5th grade) to experience friendship, worship, encouragement, and fun activities.
Our children's ministry is a high priority to us, so we put a lot of effort to make sure they have the best and safest experience possible.
Come in and learn more about the ministry or contact our Kidztown director, Lora Osburn.
All volunteers must agree to a background check before serving. You can submit your background check by clicking here.
Pursuing Purpose For Our Community
Our ComGroups (community groups) are geared towards growing groups of individuals to pursue the passions God has placed on their heart.
We know each and every individual has a desire to make a difference. It may be through missions, serving the homeless, caring for senior citizens, serving single mothers, and much more. We want to provide several ways for people to serve for God's glory.
At New Community, we want to be a catalyst to change in our communities. ComGroups are one way for us to accomplish that goal.
Ways To Serve In The Church
We have teams who are dedicated to providing the best possible worship experience for all of us.
Our hospitality team focuses on providing a hot cup of coffee and tasty treats, as they welcome you through the door. This team strives to make you feel at home.
The goal of the Praise and Worship Team is to lead us in a time of reflection as we lift our voices to our Creator. They would love for more voices and instruments to join in!
There is a tech side to the worship experience as well, and they are always looking for extra hands to assist with setting up computers, televisions, etc., as well as running the computers for the service.
There are so many ways to serve and be a part of New Community Covenant Church: Elkins, and we hope you join us!
